Usage
Writing messages
The composer — sending, editing, typing indicators; formatting, mentions, emojis and attachments in detail.
Type and hit Enter to send — or change the send key (Enter / Shift+Enter / Ctrl+Enter) in Preferences; the other combination inserts a newline. While you type, others in the channel see a typing indicator.

Editing your messages
Hover your own message → pencil (or the hover menu). Esc cancels, Ctrl+Enter saves. Edited messages carry an “edited” marker; moderators can inspect the edit history. Deleting your message leaves a tombstone — see deleted messages.
