Links & media previews

YouTube players, image previews, the lightbox, and the external-link safety prompt.

Message bodies get progressively richer without you doing anything:

  • URLs auto-link, with long ones truncated for display.
  • Image links render as inline thumbnails; image attachments show as previews, and several images collapse into a gallery collage with a “+N” overflow tile.
  • Click any image for the lightbox — full-screen viewing, navigation between a message’s images.
  • YouTube links become click-to-play inline players (with the video title fetched) — nothing loads from YouTube until you press play.
  • Tyto message links render a quote preview.

Clicking a link that leaves your server pops a small confirmation showing the real destination — a phishing guard, since message text can say one thing and link another. Internal links navigate directly.
